For persons who have no command-line experience in Linux or UNIX and need to move into a position where they can accomplish fundamental end-user and administrative tasks on any Linux distribution system (Centos, a RedHat Enterprise Linux close is being used during the course).

A power user who can effectively use, customize and script a Linux system for common command line processes as well as use basic network utilities. A student who successfully masters that is ready to begin learning system administration.
